Cool Rx-8 Not Starting

Hi
Can you help me I went to start my RX-8 today and it is not firing. it is turning over but nothing else.. ! code it be the fuel cut off switch and where is it ???

Like Brew said...probably flooded. Does it "whir" when you turn it over instead of "lub-lub" ........

my rx-8 still not starting. changed plugs still nothing..HELLLLLPP!!!

I takes patience to de-flood the RX-8. The first time I flooded mine two years ago, after I found procedures online, it took me an hour and a half. And 45 minutes of that was piggy-backed with another battery from a friends car. It's more than just the spark plugs, how is your starter? When were your coils and spark plug wires replaced? Do you have a manual or an automatic transmission?

Isn't there a whole thread about troubleshooting no start issues?
You should read that thread.
Maybe read your owners manual if you have one and see what it says about not being able to start your car.

Maybe look around the forum for other threads that people couldn't get their cars to start, and see how they solved their issue. You know, like how you found this thread.
