RX-8 on Ebay... Real Market Value?
I noticed a lot of the RX-8 on Ebay is selling at "reserves not met." Those dealers are spending a lot of money listing for something that can't sell. The average bidding on the new fully-loaded GT usually end at 27000-28000, while the MRSP is like $32000(?) . I was going to buy from some guy who had a 3000mile RX8 Auto GT package, but his buyer backed out and now he is trying to pump me for $1500 extra. As a poor student, $1500 is like one month of living expenses in the expensive old city of Fort Lauderdale.

Most items on ebay have prices way below what the item actually sells for until right before the auction ends. For example, I sold an item a couple of months ago that was at around $300 for like a week, but in the last few hours of the auction, the price went up quick and I got $650 for it...

Poor has many definitions... :D
My definition of poor is no income stream since I am a foreign student. Logically, the degree is costing more the tuition and living expenses. There is the loss of earning power.

As you can see, my BMW 330CI is falling apart. The dealer agreed to replace the parts after threatening them to give them ZERO stars for service. Well, it is not like they pay for it. Warranty is usually claimed through the manufacturer. Still, never buy a 3-series again in my life.

It is still unfortunately to see some kinks in the first year RX8. After all, they did came out with the prototype in 2001 so basically they had 2-3 years to try and fix most things. Maybe I will look into a RX8 in the future, but as for now, I guess most of you would recommend: graduate and get a job. Ya, I want to graduate too.
