RX-8 4 Speed AT Problem

Hey guys, Ive been having trouble with my RX8 since I got a repair on minor bumper scratches. I drive my RX8 with the Manual 4 Speed all the time and after the repairs, when I downshift, it would not even show me what gear I am at and then it automatically changes to AT even when im on MT. Even on AT it still doesnt show what gear I am at. Does anyone know whats going on?

Thanks!
