Iwill add to my previous post by admitting I did not properly explain exactly what I was talking about so it's understandable why this was questioned. I apologize for that. With all my years owning so many different cars, and learning from the best car guys I know, this is the first time anyone has ever questioned this. I'm truly baffled, but with every day, comes a new experience.

Ok I understand what you're getting at now. Honestly my experience only comes in LSDs in trucks, in which applications include almost soley getting from stuck to unstuck. It's easy to see in the mind's eye what 2 wheels spinning would do to a car with a weight of RX-8 on a sheet of glass, slip and slide sideways. Not as much so on heavier vehicles with bigger tires with better grip. Finally I think many of us are on the same page, lol.
