Rotary wave

Pretty cool. Whenever I see somebody in a Mazda with a rotary, new or old, they give a big smile, wave, thumbs up, or point. Neat. My chick thought it was awesome.

Got a wave and a flash from a guy in the area that has a Mazdaspeed 3 .... It was real hard to resist the temptation to quickly turn around and play!!

I missed a wave/flash from another 8 the other day (I think VT plates). I was trying to pay attention to a silver Prosche Cayman and a yellow Corvette up ahead of me. I managed to get my hand up as he passed me. I don't know if he caught it.

I wave when I'm not in lala land anyway.

I only wave if I make eye contact with the driver.

It's like... If I'm driving along, and I pull up to a light, and then another RX8 pulls up (they're very rare in my part of town) I can't help but check it out and think "oh wow... these cars are sexy!" As I'm checking out the car, I'll meet eyes with the driver and notice that they're looking at my car in the same way. At that point I just laugh & wave in a kind of friendly "yeah - I do that, too" kinda way.

You're more likely to see a DeLorean than an RX7 where I live, and they've been my dream car for over 14 years now, so whenever I see one of those I get giddy like a kid and start waving in a very fanboyish kinda' way... stupid, I know, but we all have our weaknesses.

I do more of a nod unless I know who it is then they get a raised hand or a thumbs up

I still enjoy looking over to see people checking out the car.

Although the feeling I get is I am a caged animal at the zoo and they are staring at me.
