I have purchased a full factory navigation system for mazda rx8 (screen,dvd,joy stick) from ebay but it is does not include the wiring harness i wonder from where i can get the wiring harness and is it possible to fabricate the wiring harness instead of buying it.

 

Contact this seller. He's also a board member under the same name. he might be able to get you just the harness.

umm if your car didn't originally come with gps then there is NO WAY to add the factory unit to your car. You just wasted some money buying the system. Only cars that originally had navigation from factory will allow this system to be changed/installed. sorry.

wrong. its possible. just VERY hard

but yes, you will need to change the entire cars harness, not just the navigation part.
