I never shut it off until the temp gets off the "C" and I burn 93 octane along with I use 5W20 Castrol, a Mazda oil filter with 3,000 miles in-between changes. I drive my car mostly on the inter-state or on highways. Yes, I have changed my oil twice in 30 days sometimes.

My car has 67,000 miles on it, so I drove 58,500 or so miles on a set of plugs. I actually thought my car had close to 30k on it when they were replace during the recall. I know I should have been paying more attention, but I didn't and I will change them at 97,000 next time. I did the coils and the wires, because it made sense to do it before I had any trouble. I had no corrosion on the coils either.

Tell me what you see? From right to left in the first picture is Leading, Trailing, Leading and then Trailing
im jus jumpling in on this but it looks to me that the leading has a circle shape on the face where as the trailing has an x shape on the face? Correct? im jus trying to learn let me know if im wrong or not

Misfire in cylinder one, rough start

HELP!!!! i have a 2oo4 rx8 with 93k on it. the car blows out smoke when first starting up with rough idel until it clears out. Throws a code of missfire in the first cylinder. changed the coils, plug wires, plugs, ran compression test, ran vacum test. I can't seem to figure out what's going on. all the plugs are firing. I did noticed that the Trailing plug on the front egine/car was full of oil. This was the only plug that had oil on it. I am guessing that is where the missfire code is comming from. the leading plug in the same camber was dry. Any idea's?

Could be wire or could be coil. There have been instances of coil being bad right out of the box.
Might wanna make sure that plug wire is on thight if nothing else. Have you verfied that this plug is firing.........and if so.........how?

BTW......you buried this post and at least one other of the exact same thing in different threads that are several years old!

Ohmed all the coils to make sure one wasn't burnt. they all checked out. i spun the car over and checked the fire on each plug individual to test the fire on each one

Check were the leak is coming from. That might be the problem.
