If you can set aside a couple hundred bucks, you could just have a local body shop or customization shop fill the holes and spray them. Or you can go the cheapy route like I did and just fill it with some apoxy crap I found in my friends garage and put a black vinyl strip over it.

I love it, its held up great and it was a (literally) $40 mod. I do plan to purchase a carbon Fiber trunk and paint it VR and leave the back CF in the future however.
The holes are big (specially from the 'MAZDA") so do not shave it unless you plan to fill and paint.

Meh. Some Bondo should fill them in nicely, though I bet a respray would set me back like $200 bucks at a shitty place like Macco. Not sure if it's worth it now.
