So i went to clean out my cabin air filter today... and unhooked the left side, and reached my hand to unhook the right and it was already loose.. i pulled it off to find out one of the prongs broke off (not from me). guess previous owner forgot to mention that! Found a bug, along with lots of other things on that filter. yuck!

It seems to sit on there fine after re attaching it... Question - Where can I find another? and will this some how effect something else?

They are a relatively cheap part...I broke mine a few years ago..I think it was about $20 from the dealer

 

Good to know i was gona call them tonight but it was already 6:30 when i went outside to clean it.

 

yeah i got mine for 35 after tax from my dealer last year

 

This reminds me of when I had to replace my battery cover with the broken tab. Happiness is getting a brand new OEM part for $29.95.
