Ok, please dont kill me for asking yet ANOTHER question about the "m" flash. and i searched..so dont tell me to do that either...

i read in one thread that it cost somebody like 25 bucks to get it done...did any other dealerships charge anybody? I'm getting mine done today and i'm just curious.

 

it better be free, its a recall now...theres a site on here (in tech and garage section) that has the TSBs, just print it off and show it to them. they wont ask for money then.

 

Should not charge you. Dealership get it for free. They should plug in the WDS during routine service. Ask them to push a button and charge you $20. Come on :o

Use your charm. If it does not work, sit on the floor and cry

 

it should be free. mazda advisory ask all dealers to update the flash.

The posting where it sounded like the guy was charged $26.50 to get it done was misunderstood -- he said he saw the work order and that's how much the dealership charged Mazda for the M flash.
