Racing Beat gauge install question

Anyone know how difficult the install is? I got a quote from Rotary Reliability for 2-3 hours x $95 which I think is ridiculous. I am not doing the install myself since I'm retarded, but not retarded enough to pay $300 either.

P.S anyone in Orange County know of a shop or anyone who can do this for cold hard cash...thanks

hey Crowboy, there's a few people here that have installed the RB gauges. (myself included) It does take a few hours from start to finish, I don't think RR was trying to gouge you.

take a look at my sticky thread in the Electronics subforum. (I used different gauges but it'll give you an idea of the work involved)
Get a couple friends together and I'm sure you guys can knock it out in an afternoon

Crowboy, there is a DIY on how to install everything yourself. Some jerk-off made the DIY but it's still good. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ight=gauge+pod

I heard the a-hole who made it blew out his alternator listening to Elton John singles with his radio cranked to 11.

why crowboy...

doesn't racing beat INCLUDE install instructions? if you didn't get them... i would go to them and ask for a copy to make sure!

but of course... any extra effort you want to put in would be of a lot more benefit.

you may want to get copper oil lines to replace the POS plastic ones that comes with the POS autometer guges from the kit...
