Quick question about the a/t
Always owned manual, so I expect to be in manual a/t mode more than automatic. When I'm shifting, do I need to let go of the gas first? Not used to not having a clutch....

I don't own one, but I did test drive an AT before purchasing a 6 speed. No need to back off the gas before manual shifting in the AT. The tranny compensates for the throttle position and puts you in the next gear at the proper rpm, very much the same as a regular automatic transmission works.

No need to get off gas. It takes 800rpm for our slow trannys to finaly shift after you tell it to, if you are on it hard. Rev limiter kicks in on my 04 at 8,200 I shift at 7.4k ushaly +-500rpm and get right in befor limiter. If you miss it then your shift will stick and car stays in limiter for a few seconds. If you practise alot you will feel right when the trany is going to shift. I tend to left off my gas and get right back on it same time it is shifting. This keeps the car from jurking and makes a perfectly smooth shift.
Sea level I have found the most performance to come out of. 1st red line 2nd 6k 3rd speed limiter will kick in on third
