Hi guys,

Being that we're all so obsessed with motor oils and gear lubricants, I wanted to get some feedback from some users. Pure Power Lubricants is rather close to where I live and they had even offered to do a UOA on my current transmission gear oil (50/50 ratio Redline MTL/MT90 mix) to see how their lubricants bettered it.

I've also seen numerous rave reviews regarding their re-usable oil filters. I wanted to know if these would be safe to use on our cars. I usually change my oil at every 2700-3000 mile interval. Having a re-usable oil filter might be quite useful for rotary owners given that our cars are so sensitive to oil-related issues.

If anyone has experience with them, I'd like to get some feedback from you guys. I'm particularly eye-balling their billet aluminum oil filters mainly. But I'm also considering their 15W40 motor oils as well. They don't endorse synthetics......that's all I know. They say it's a marketing ploy.

I've sent them an email regarding the UOA and I'll report back my findings as well.

They were referred by old Miata buddies. They all made the switch and they said so far so good. So we'll have to see.
