Pure Fuel

Pure Fuel
Now and then when we were out of town traveling we would find a major station selling 100% gasoline and the mpg would jump from 22 mpg on the highway to 27
We repeated this several times. FINALLY found 2 stations in wichita ks that sell non ethanol premium gas and it is damn well worth the lil extra price and the few extra miles to fill up.

It definitely makes a difference when I fill up with pure gas, and often there is no difference in price or a very small difference.
http://pure-gas.org/ this is a compiled list of stations in the US which sell non-ethanol blended fuel.

Richmond fails tho due to not having any here!!

Richmond is most likely in a "non-attainment" zone for NOx emissions. Ethanol-blend is required in any areas that are non-attainment (except for marine use) and typically you will find nothing but ethanol-blend in a wide area around the non-attainment zone. Georgia initially tried to stop the EPA from requiring ethanol-blend use as we had a non-ethanol blend that reduced emissions more, but the EPA said we had to use ethanol, it was a mandate.

Science 101, you can't create something out of nothing. and no it does not work as some tree hugger wants to believe,
- totally renewable because we just taking CO2(plants), grow it, harvest it, process it, burn it, turns into CO2 and cycle starts again ... Yeah ok. not to mention, I wanna ask what those machine uses in da corn farm, Diesel ?
- It's cleaner burning ... sure it does, in ur dreams, and it also emits another kind of poisonous gas that's not found in fossil fuel.
whatever, This Ethanol bullshit needs to stop, I wonder how tho. I f-king hate NYC cuz we have a retarded Mayor that's just like Putin in Russia ... 3 terms and counting.
