Purchasing an rx8 <3

hey everyone! in new so i wanted to say hi....
but um i have always wanted to have my own sports car...im done with the slow focus ..anyways i reallllly love the rx8 and i was wondering if you could tell me what i should look for in a used one when i go to shop around for one...my bf owns a rx7 so he knows all about the rotary....but he said that he was not to familiar with the rx8 and to ask you guys...any advice?

Read the stickies in the tech section.

Don't buy an 04 or 05 auto.

no i dont want auto is an 04 or 05 bad in MT?

The older autos had a little less power and fewer gears.
There is a ton of info here. Search around a bit

04-05 MT's should be fine, see if you can find one still under warranty, and make sure all the recalls have been done.

No. I've got an '05 MT with zero problems. But follow Dshiznit1489's advice.

Ahhh, another 'almost' RX-8 owner. *high five* Yeah, searching around and stickies help a lot. I've been cruising around the forums for a bit just reading all sorts of info, so that's helped me out a lot on questions I had for the car.
