Proud New Owner Of an RX8!!!

So last week I posted a thread about RX8 or 350Z -- Well, I am now currently a new owner of an RX8!!!

An unfortunate event happened friday where it rained hard here in La Crosse for about 30 mins. My car was parked in the street at work and the road flooded. The water was up to my window. So, it basically trashed my ecu and motor. So, insurance gave me roughly 14k for my car -- Paid off the RSX-S w/ 10 K and downed 4K on a 2004 RX8 w/ 8,400 miles!!! Price @ 19,995 - After TTL, I paid 16,800!!

Just make sure you park somewhere *higher* than the spot where your RSX-S has received its painful death.

Hahaha... I'll be sure not to park in the street anymore, thats for sure.

I'm driving my beater accord around a lot more from here on out.

The sad part is, I don't know anything about rotary engines But, looking to learn, so when I get to the modding mode... Be expecting to see tons of questions if searching doesn't get me the right results!

Well, my buddy is a Mazda salesman -- They got my car off of a trade in from an older guy & he didn't drive it much I guess... It's the cleanest used car I've seen thus far.

OMG, at first I thought it was your new 8 that got caught in the flood!

Congratulations, you'll love it.

8's have pretty good reslae value, so if it does flood again, it'll be good to know you'll get your monies worth

Congrats on the purchase by the way, I don't know if you've posted this but what color/package is it?

Best place would be the dealership or here on our forum.

Congrats on the new car! Welcome to the site! You have to go to the service sections and ask if there are any recalls on your car. pretty easy to do. I went one day and then had to make an appt. I was in and out about an hour for all my recalls. Lets see some pictures?

FYI - a modded N/A 8 can match a stock 350z for acceleration .

Congratulations. You have chosen wisely. Here is some free advice. Before you ask a lot of questions, be sure to search first. A lot of people will "flame" on you if you ask before searching.

Anyway, enjoy your 8. You're gonna love it. Just make sure you redline it at least once a day.
