Props to the 8 from an M3 driver!!!!!!!
Hey all. Sports car fanatic here. Quick intro. If its hot, fast, and exclusive I have driven, owned and raced it. I even had an RX7 back in tha day. I love a sports cars and the 8 is going to leave its mark in a very good way. What a great looking car!!! Styling, handling and some get up and go to boot. can't wait to see a turbo or SC version.
Does anyone have details on the next version ???

The Mazdaspeed RX8 is the only one different for now. It has a beefed up suspension ,body kit, flywheel and some other mods that I'm not to sure about. You can do a search on this forum about the Mazdaspeed for more info. May I also say that's quite a car you have as well, enjoy.

The only official "hot" RX-8 is the Mazdaspeed version, which is said to take the concept of superior handling instead of raw power even further. The added horsepower basically neutralize the heigher weight of the car.
I don't know about others, but I somehow like the concept of giving this car near perfect handling and a revy but no torquey engine. It gives you a completely different feeling compared to a raw power concept.
M3 must be a great car though, I've never driven one myself (only other 3 and 5 models), but I guess the car is a pretty perfect ride. Gotta love BMW's way how they build a car around the driver.

I think I have been looking for a way to describe how the RX-8 feels when you drive it, and this probably says it more concisely than most descriptions that I have heard.
