Based on previous experiences with a miata, I found that instead of just inflating the tires alone, parking all 4 wheels on 2 layers of corrugated cardboard helps to prevent flat spots. Sta-bil in the tank (full) also works well - don't listen to the folks who say to leave it half-empty... ANY condensation/damp air in the gas tank will be a disaster! Stuff a chunk of wire-wool in each exhaust to prevent critters, and also a bar of soap unwrapped on the passenger seat keeps them out of the cabin.

When starting up in the spring, I used to pull the plug wires, and crank it for 10s. to get the oil moving, then connect the plugs and fire it up. Dunno if this would work for a rotary?

Lastly, block off the air-intake. Mice love the air-box as a nesting site
