Well of course if you search the forum you'll find all you want and more. The renesis doesn't respond to mods like the 3rd gen does so expect minimal gains for your $. You could go exhaust (Borla, Racing Beat, etc.), intake (K&N, Racing Beat), ecu (Canzoomer--must tune it yourself though), ground wires (minimal gains), short shifter, high flow cat, nitrous. There is a magazine out I believe its Modified Mag --that tested the mods on an RX8. The best mod on the RX8 honestly is making youself a better driver--these higher strung cars are like scapels vs. the hammer of say a V8 or torquey 6.

Why does every teenager have to announce how old they are in every thread? WTF difference does it make? You don't hear other people saying "I'm a 43 year-old man and I just got my first kidney stone. Hey what performance parts can I get for my RX-8?".

If you want a project car, the RX8 is NOT it.

The RX-8 is a great car.. honestly bro, if you get one, just keep it the way it is... everything you can buy right now will give you minimal HP. Id say keep it stock for now, and after college WHEN you get your degree, make money, and then do what ever hell you want to it. besides, by the time u get outta college, there should be a decent turbo out ther...so in 4 years.....sadly....

I am 42 and have calcification in my right shoulder, and it got so bad that I can't get into reverse one handed. Sometimes I get 4th when looking for 6th. I am getting surgery so that I don't end up in an automatic. That would be like being forced into a wheelchair.

The auto FD is slightly faster than a 6spd RX8.
