did you extend the overflow hose to avoid it possibly happening again?

I've been having PS problems too. Opened the fuse box in engine bay and this is what I found. Some of my relays are cracked and I have no idea how. Which one is PS fuse? U think these cracked ones have affect on PS? One controls PS amongst other things.

Guys if you have this problem even after cleaning the connectors, make sure you check/change your harness before touching the ecu module or rack. Most of the time that's the problem and fixes it right away.

i cut my connectors and soldered my wires together and used a multi meter to test all the way from the EPSM down to the rack and there is a constant flow
my power steering is completely out. Also when i did this i cleaned every possible connection with cleaner. I was wondering if there is a way to read a "code" set out by the electronic power steering on my 2004??

Does anyone know much about the PCMs for power steering compatibility wise. I found a bunch online but none with exact matching part numbers. i had a problem with this before when i had to replace my main pcm.
My power steering pcm is "F151-67880 00" "J601-112590 0F10"
There's two lines of numbers the first one matches most of them but the second one is where it doesn't match up.

The latest version for a 2004 S1 power steering module is part no. F151-67-880D. You have the original version. As Mazda revises the part they add a letter on the end starting with A, then B, then C, and so on.
There seems to be some conflicting reports on the forum about whether a dealership tool is needed for logging a different EPS module into the pcm CAN communication network or not ...
