Somehow all the screws on the plastic stone tray fell out and the piece of plastic that is behind the oil cooler and lower part of the wheel well on the drivers side fell down and drug along the ground and got all messed up. So I called my local handy Mazda dealer and to get a new piece was $66. The question is does anyone know of any where else to get those pieces for not so much money.

the same thing happened to me. only it happened on the freeway and the pieces were ripped off.

I tried mazmart in the vendor forum (they sell parts off wrecked cars)....so far no response.

Those are a hard part to find, I was unable to find any aftermarket version of it, like the kinda a repair shop would use instead of the OEM part.....looks like only mazda has it avalible for the car, you can buy it new or try to find one used of a crashed car, like DynamicDookie said.

 

By some chance did the dealer do work on your car recently? When I went to have the second air dam installed the dealer again didn't tighten these screws. Luckily I realized this before I lost any of them or the whole tray.

 

Check with Rosenthall or Trusseville for a better price. You will find them in the vendor section.
