Angry People with nothing better to do....

So I come back from a great night at work, (I work in a night club) and can't wait to get in my baby and just drive home, until me and my friends come up to the car looking like this...

The whole side of my door is scratched, the center console was completely ripped up all the way to the trunk, and as he was raiding the car he must have put his knee on the glass which was all over the seat because that too is all scratched up. I had a thing of oil in my trunk which he took out and threw on top of my speaker in the back, it ended up leaking all the way down the back seat. Sometimes it just seems like you just can't win man...

Thankfully, I wasn't in the middle of switching my insurer, which I was planning on doing at the moment, aswell as maybe trading up to an 09 R3... but still gonna cost me a 500$ deducatble to repair all the damages... and it probably won't be the same as it was before. The theif only got away with a pair of sunglasses.. which is funny cause I had like 25$ in change sitting in the little coin holder right under the stearing wheel which he didn't even open haha. Unfortunately, the sunglasses were worth a crapload, and the sad part is he will prolly sell them to some dude on the street for like 40$.

Sucks dude, clubs are the worst place ever to park your car. I never go to clubs and when I first got divorced I went out to a local club and came out to a smashed rear window. No theft, just a $600.00 broken window.

yea... I make sure to park mine far away from the street with all the clubs, so the drunk people stay away... guess that didn't work... I tried underground parking too but one night I came back and my wipers were gone.. I didn't notice when I got in my car and flicked my wipers on left a nice scratch accross the windshield. Doesn't matter where you park, if someone wants to f with you, they are gonna do it.

sorry to hear that dude.

but just wondering, how can one "wiping" of the metal wiper head leave scratch on your windshield? did you end up replacing your windshield?

lemme guess, ur car has no shock sensor installed ?

It won't stop them from breaking your glass, but at least it would get a little attention and scared that ****** like ****.

Meh, no one pays attention to an alarm in a club parking lot. My window was broke less than 50ft from the bouncers.

thats terrible! who's your insurance provider? i have state farm and they have a $0 deductable for vandalism. my 8 got rammed with a shopping cart several times in the same spot while parked in a giant eagle parking lot.. i guess someone i'd arrested knows what i drive. insurance took care of it right away. you may want to check and see what your insurance company says about vandalism. you may get them to match state farm's coverage.

You pissed some off at the club. Either an employee or customer.

Who ever it was, knew your car.

Nah I'm pretty sure it was random, I don't **** people off lol. I do have shock sensor, that's prolly why they were so savage when raiding the car, they were for sure in a hurry.

Thanks for the tip about vandalism, I'll check into it!

I didn't replace the windshield, the scratch is extremely fine, but still annoying to know it's there, shows more when driving at night or in the rain.

this. also avoid riots. no joke. I parked my 8 on the street just before a huge riot that ensued after my unlikely-to-win ohio bobcats pushed their way forward in the march madness tourney. I ran as fast as I could to the bar street, moved my car, and literally 10 minutes later people were standing on cars in the same spot and chanting. whew..
