The best color is no color.
If you're going to fake the funk of having a BBK do it right with the ebay brembo covers.

BBK > stock > brembo covers > painted OEM.

I would recommend not going with paint on your caliper but take them off and get them powder coated. And since there off the car anyways you can also powder coat the dust covers.

I asked for mat black and silver... apparently silver means chrome to the powder coaters...

powder coat should run about $35 to $50 per caliper (depending on color you choose). Dont let them charge you for oven time... that is bs. You can usually get a better price if you are willing to wait.

vs. $10-15 for the paint and do all 4 yourself. I'm sure the powder coat is nice, but $140-200 bucks for painted calipers?? hellz no.

i guess it depends on where you drive your car. Iv seen plenty of examples of fading chips on paint in less year. Road salt does some strange things to paint... might not be salt anymore.

If spray paint work for you go for it, but you should look into pc as a alternative.

I forgot this is a nation wide forum (duh). I live in florida so we dont have any salt or anything on the roads.. here I have done several calipers and none have chipped or faded. I couldnt tell you what would happen up north with different climate and stuff.
