Moving on...

Well, thanks to a new house and a new child (1yr old now ) getting to have a fun toy car around wasn't a viable, affordable option anymore Last week I managed to sell the rx8 to a great guy who i think will treat it well.

Also sold our 98 GMC and purchased a 2008 Nissan Titan, 4 dr truck. It's nowhere near as much fun to drive and i miss my old car already, but i had to make a hard choice. I had the rx8 for almost 2.5 years and drove 12k on it, it didn't make sense to keep it around.

You guys as a group have been fantastic, I will miss having the car to take pictures of as the titan is not a looker

Keep on rotoring, peace out!

-Leo

You can sell the car, but you can't escape the dreams.

Good luck, Leo. Hopefully you'll get another rotary rocket one day.

Gah! I hope I never have to do that but you never know where life takes you. I think I'd fall into a deep depression if I had to sell it lol

Well they have to give up alcohol, smoking and anything hazardous to the child for over a year. Would you give up drinking for to keep your 8???

I'm thinking of having another child. This will be my 2nd and LAST! 2 kids will fit in my beloved and therefore no mo kiddys.
And on top of it, I'm looking to buy a house. I've sacrificed alot for my lil girl, but not my car.

I made a deal with my girlfriend ;

Once we are married and have kids, she gets the RX8, and I get a 2 seater.
She will have a 4 door big enough to hold the kids, and I get a new car!!!!

I told my wife that when we have kids my rx8 is staying. No matter what. It has 4 seats, 4 doors and and will be paid off soon. She knows my car is not going anywhere. I think she secretly loves it more than I do. Not likely but I went to the garage the other day and saw he wiping the hood down, after I waxed it, with a terry cloth.

Weekend toy/convertible FTW!!
The plan is a 2zz-ge swap(unless we can figure out how to fit a 13b in there) , roll the fenders to fit more rubber, then strip the car to bare bones.
But we got PLENTY of time before kids. Which leaves more time to save more $$, for the kids and the cars
