if you can't discuss why insurance wont cover the car, why even bother mentioning it, and why even bother starting this thread

I don't know - it sounds like a shifty situation, but if the insurance company had an open investigation or something on one of my accidents, I don't think I'd be talking too much in an open forum either. Same goes if they were denying coverage - provided, I probably wouldn't have mentioned that in the first place. Could be something benign, no reason to jump all over him (yet).

hmmm....driving in long island with bad tires isnt a disqualification of insurance.....regardless of the situation.......unless you either dont have a license, its suspended, or it was dui....
