Oil leak....

I was recently parked on an incline and noticed my car had leaked some oil. It was only a drop or two and looks like it's coming from the oil pan. I'm thinking it's the oil pan gasket but I'm not sure. Anyone have the same issue? If so was it the gasket?

Most oil leak issues we run into are the oil lines, usually the oil cooler lines. They tend to rust a bunch, and can rust through. High winter salt areas tend to see it worse than non, but it's happened to at least 1 FL car that I know of, so it's possible anywhere.

If it was only two drops I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you don't have any pools of oil at home or any other signs.

get a 19 wrench and make sure your oil plug is in tight (but not too tight obviously).

This is where I would get under there and wipe it all down, including around the drain plug. When you do this, sometimes that's enough to locate it. If not, then possibly tape some paper towels on the surface beneath it(where it's going to be parked for the night) garage floor , driveway, or wherever and go from there in the morning.
But......yeah, if a couple of drops, it's not too bad at all, but I would want to find it.

^..........Oh noes...........I hope it ain't one of those.
Not that it's catastrophic, but will lead to all the other stuff in dealing with that......the air filter, the MAF, talk of catch can, talk of blow by and/or filling oil too fast, etc.

Year and mileage? It really depends on it.

Have you checked the gasket lately for leaks? It tends to be on the mileage of the vehicle.

Mine is also leaking from the pan gasket. It's a small leak, going to fix mine when I upgrade to the greddy oil pan.
