No, but you do come close to the worst grammar.

What exactly are you trying to prove?

I do too the fact the this car has a rotary is a good enough reason to get it and HP isn't everything there are so many more aspects to a car. Like a 9000 redline.

Young drivers are bad, especially the ones with freaking Beat up Civics

I see them all the time on the road. like year 90 Civics. you can tell they dont give a **** about the car at all cuz *Daddy* got it for them. and it doesnt matter if they hit anything cuz they have the cheapest insurance they can find and if they hit something and u sue them, do u expect them to have any money to pay you ?

I wish they can make the Drivers License Requirements 1000% higher. Its just too easy to get a license in NY.

I took my first written test when I was 17, I didnt read/study anything and I still pass. So go figure.

make the written test 1000 % harder, up the Age Requirement to at least 21, and the road test make them park at tight space on a hill or something.

gokart

Well right now i have the motor and tranny sitting in the backyard so right now i just want to get the motor cleaned up it was running when i pulled it out so there should no problem there i am planning on building the gokart sort of like a mini sand rail or else there will be no room to put all the drivtrain components or fuel cell. i can document everything if you guys are truly interested?????? i also have a 14b turbo off of an eclipse that i will most likely use but just at a conservative 4 to 6 psi...oh ya well this thread is pretty much kicked in the groin. sorry guys

IDK if they should make it a requirement to be 21 BUT they should make it more expensive for younger drivers to be able to tool around town.

I couldn't stomache reading this whole thread...but I bet the summary is something like this:

"Old Drivers":
I wish those punk teenagers wouldn't buy used 8's...they only bought it because it was used...I'm so much better than everyone because I paid full price for mine...brand spankin' new baby. Those punks are hurting my ability for elitism.

"Young Drivers":
Wait, I'm different than thos FATF wannabe's. I respect the 8'...I may be a teenager, but give me a chance to prove my worth!

Meanwhile dueling banjo's plays in the background.

How about this: I think we should ban stupid people from buying the '8...I REALLY don't want to be associated with that group.

Oops, too late

Younger drivers arent always a bad thing, I'd agree with not wanting so many RX-8's on the road. But im a young RX-8 owner (19, yes 19). I bought my RX-8 all on my own, yes without any parents help, and I love it. I bought it when I was 18 and have a nice loan for the next 6 years of my life. At least RX-8s arent as common as 350Z's, I live in iowa for crying out loud and I saw 5 350Z's yesterday in Iowa City. I dont think we have to worry about too many RX8's on the road just yet. Wait til they drop below 10K in value, then worry.

Younger drivers in general will reduce the total number of 8's on the road at an increased rate, through attrition from accidents due to inexperience, harder driving, and reduced maintenance levels.

Yes, there will be exceptions, some young people are genuine enthusiasts with common sense and a sufficient maintenance budget. But not the majority. Having been a teenage driver once, I speak from experience. I was not in the former group at the time.

Just a few days ago I pulled up next to an obviously teenage driver in a beat-to-sh*t red '04 with a temporary plate taped in the rear window. Judging from the date on the temp. tag, he had only had it a day or two. He took off hard and fast when the light turned green, blew his shifts and nearly stalled it. That poor 8 probably won't make it through the summer. RIP.
