Not engine but something else making weird noise

When I slow down and come to a complete stop you hear something like I have a flat tire. But I dont. Its a noise like that tho. It has to do with the tires/wheels because it stops when the car stops. Any suggestions? I wish I could be more descriptive I just dont know how haha.

Check that all your lug nuts are torqued to spec first. Also check your calipers, pads and rotors.

If your lug nuts are loose, it is a big concern. if they go, the wheel could fall off. If it's worn pads, or a hanging caliper, you stand the chance of your brakes not working well. If it's bad deposits on the rotor, it won't really hurt anything other than noise and vibration in your pedal.

my bad wheel bearing is causing all sorts of wierdness. However with a wheel bearing you'll normally hear whining while driving, so I dont think that's it unless you're hearing other noises?

You said it sounds like tires. Now this may seem like a strange question but do your tires have a center rib? Not all tires do, and the point of the center rib is reduce tire noise. take a look at this link and tell me if you have a center tread like these do.

That's normal, the air pump works for roughly 30 seconds on startup to get your cat up to working temperature faster.

Well just to keep you guys updated it was a caliper that was wrong with it. But they also found multiple things wrong. Heat didnt work but they fixed that but it needed a new power steering mount. I have been waiting for it to come in forever and havent driven my car since this thread started if not a few days before. I miss her a lot lol

It sounded like a brake issue.
Steering Mount? ? ?

Ususally all they have to do is clean the connectors and / or replace the short wiring harness on an RX 8.

The connector is close to the over flow from the radiatro and the steam causes corrosion.

I tried calling them but it was too late in the day. Yeah they said they have to replace it. Its something else other than the brake. the brake thing was fixed its just this now. The power steering would turn off randomly so thats what they are fixing i just dont get how it coul take so long.

Yeah there was no problem for a good 4 days. Then the stuff started happening. The power steering happened a week after.
