Newer CC Insert Design? Still as Restrictive?

So I know that there are a few threads on this already, but they are not only old, but they are more than likely based on the "older" design of the CC insert. Take note of the differences:

old:

New:

(Sorry, garbage exposure on the pic)

Anyway, I have this installed just after my BHR mp on my single exit exhaust. It has done a good job of reducing reverb/drone, while keeping the exhaust note true to that open rotor sound.

I have read some comments stating how this would be very restrictive for the high RPM of the rotary. I am curious if this newer design is still just as restrictive.

I dont want to question a design spec, but what would make this more restrictive than the muffler used in a BHR midpipe?

I looked into a similar product a couple of years ago and was told that it would be restrictive as it slows down the flow while resonators alter the sound waves to make exhaust quieter.

I would be interesting to see a before and after dyno on this product.
