For the record if your looking for winter tires go to tirerack.com then products, winter,then select your car and build your own package if your looking for new tires/rims. Gonna order some myself sometime in the next month or so.

oh... i read a lot about the oil to use... any comments, suggestions..... what do I ask for at gas station.... lol that sounds funny! I rather get info from those that own and drive the same car!!!!!!!!

hey guys... anyone using less then 91 fuel.... midgrade 89?? is it absolutely a must to use 91??

dam she is thristy - more then I thought.....but the ride is worth it!!

just wanted your comments....please and thx!!

yeah she eats up a lot of gas, but 91 is recommended, i know there are people that use 89 all the time with no problems...

(flamesuit on) i use 87, 69k miles current, and never changed anything but plugs due to a recall in 05, link 2 pics doesnt work 4 me, oh yeah dont forget to redline twice a day!

oh yeah, um get a KN drop in filter from AUTOZONE ($42), and good oil filters- dont forget to add oil every 1000k mi!,

can some one tell me how to determine the model of rx 8 i.e its year of manufacturing ? rather then the seat belt method?

There's a letter code in the VIN that gives the model year. It's the tenth character, and for 2003 through 2009 it's 3 through 9. There should also be a sticker in the door pillar that gives the month and year of manufacture.

What's the seat belt method?

thanks for your help Seat belt method is that seat belt has a sticket which shows year of manufacturing but i was worried that may be this is seat belt manufacturing date despite of car manufacturing date......
