new rx-8 owner and new to club
after suffering for 20 years having sold my 1981 RX-7 (to buy a house). I am back in the rotary club. I just bought a 2007 grand touring (absolutely loaded) in phantom blue mica with just 7400 miles on it (one owner trade). It is my sunny day summer car and it is killing me. I want to drive it and it keeps freakin raining here in Buffalo. Will post pics soon. I have driven it a few times in the last week and I absolutely love it. Don't know why I waited so long. It is good to be back!!!

In bad weather, it's better to be driving in the 8 than couped up in any other car....that's my mentality.
Gratz and welcome, but you have to post pics. Standing rule that you you have to post pics or it didn't happen
We just love seeing some pics of 8s though....and it's a fantastic color.

Whoah whoah whoah...
Wait.
There's actually sun in Buffalo.... at any point?!
Welcome back to the rotary world! The oldschool FB's are what got me interested in the RX7's long ago.

I'd like to caution against it... at least, above 1st gear. I tap it off all the time for sliding around in 1st gear, but this guy wishes he had left it on... a great example of how it would have only be a heartbeat scare moment instead of a totaled 8 with $55k (CAN) in it and broken vertebra.

It's a safety cushion for those single moments that are a surprise and you don't see coming...

interior pics
I took some interior pics at the same time as I took these, but the sun was so bright (IN BUFFALO) that they came out very dark. I will take more and post them soon. I had a 1981 RX-7 in black with red pinstriping. I put Recaro seats in it and V rated tires with Riken rims and it looked great. I kick myself to this day for selling that car. I actually dream that it is still in my garage under a cover.

Hey welcome to the club! I actually moved to Houston from Buffalo just two years ago. I can't stand that weather! But it's freaking HOT down here. Anyway I can drive my 8 (that I have only had a week) all year round
