I have been reading these forums over the past week or so and just got a 2005 Touring RX-8 today with 70k on it. This is my second Mazda (I had a 626 for 3 years about 10 years ago) and my previous car was a 2004 Mustang.

I am going to work my way down the list posted for the first $100 to spend on an Rx-8, but I noticed that the front cup holders seems to get very hot. Has anyone else experienced this?

Edit: Found the thread for the thermal shielding DIY for the cup holders. I'll try it this weekend.
