Hey everyone. Just got my 8 about a month ago. Now i'm ready to start modding. Just wanted to say hello, and welcome myself to the site. Anyone have any good starting points in terms of mods?

The only thing I didn't have a say in is the color of the car. It was actually my moms, and she decided it wasnt a good daily driver for her so i'm taking over the payments. I really like the mazdaspeed front bumper so I think that will be my first purchase for it. After that I wanna spend most of my attention on the engine. Maybe an Intake and exhaust. I gotta search some more so I don't clutter up the boards with stupid posts, but just wanted to say hello to everyone. Thanks for the idea's and keep em' commin.

 

yellow is now a rare color, as it's been a Mazda tradition to have yellow only as a first year color

Welcome to "Club Yellow" - I got my Lightning Yellow GT at the end of April 05- Still bone stock, but I have my wish list - Starting with the Racing Beat A/C Condenser and oil cooler screen protectors. - Then I am going down the appearance line - I Like the OEM appearance pkg, plus, rotary accents and strakes.

 

thats cool to know about the yellow. I thought they just stopped making it cause it didn't sell or whatnot. I really wasnt thrilled about it before, but that makes it kinda cool knowing its limited.

 

I'm gonna have to search more on the racing beat stuff.. seems like its pretty important in terms of what people are doin to their cars. My car before this was a type S from Acura ( I actually still have it ) so I'm a noob when it comes to rotary.
