Thanks, I'm a seasoned 13B owner, after dealing with the FD's....good and bads. 4th gear in the RX8 seems to be grinding everynow and again, any idea what that might be?

A temporary fix may be changing the transmission oil. I use redline products and I like them.
However make sure to check your clutch pedal, some units tend to flex\break and may lead to incomplete clutch engagement\disengagement worsening the problem you're experiencing.
After a while you'll have to change or rebuild the transmission anyway

We're still debating it since the pedal seems the same as the old one
You could, after checking it up, either weld it\have it welded or purchase an already reinforced pedal from BHR.
Race Roots offers a bracket that should work as an alternate solution but my personal preference between brackets and welds falls on the latter

Nice car....I live in Summersville, WV and work in Beckley. I sold my Yellow 8 in Beckley in summer 09...would love to get it back. My heart did a double-take when you posted the picture of your yellow 8, but that is not mine. Mine was, and is, stock....I still see it from time to time. I think I have seen that one around Harper Road.
Nice car...you are going to love it. If I can't get mine back, I'm going for another...would like to stick to yellow, but they are hard to find....
If a red Mariner honks and waves, it's me!!
