Welcome to the club friend!
There is some "serious" wealth of info on this forum.
Great topics to chew on:
> DIY Rattle searches
> Meguiars product reviews
> Natural vs Synthetic Oils comparisons
> Will it Fit - great for maximizing your road traction
> A ton of tuning tips to increase performance, without loosing enjoyment.
Welcome to the club, and your new addiction.
Cheers!

..... but then after a year I came to the conclusion that I can afford a $32k car, but I can't afford a $32k toy.
I've been a fan of the 8 since before it came out, it's so well balanced as an all around car. If you look at numbers only, there's better cars out there, but there's really nothing that compares to this car.....

Congrats and welcome! You definitely bought the right car, the 8 is both one of the most fun sports cars around while also being one of the most practical.
I had owned a 7 in the past before getting an 8 too...feels good to get behind the wheel of a rotary again, doesn't it? Have fun, I doubt that you'll miss the Lotus much.

Don't miss the Lotus, I am a little nervous about snow tires and the winter here in Chicago. The RX-7 was the best...I had a 1983 GSL (I think) and a 1994 Twin Turbo, the '94 was the BEST car I've ever owned and I've owned a lot of sports cars. The 8 is really a fantastic car I hope I own it longer than most of my previous cars.
