Hey everyone! Im sorry if im posting this in the wrong section but i didn't know where else to create this thread. Ive always been a fan on the rx8 and now my current car that i drive is still great but im planning on getting a "new" car to drive. Of course the first car that pops into my mind is the rx8 ( i <3 mazdas in general). I am looking to buy a used rx8 hence i cant afford a brand new rx8. First off sadly im looking for a automatic rx8, reason why is my parents are helping my pay for the car and they wont allow me to get stick but it is what it is. Probably a 04-06 rx8. Overall ive checked on edmunds and the car rated high but the main flaw is the engine. They gave the rx8 a red (X) on the 04, 05, 06 models. Too make a long story short im not sure what specific things to look out for with the rx8. What are pros and cons about the car that i need to look for with used rx8. I am aware of the extended warranty that mazda provides, but that makes me question a little bit about the car. Nobody wants to buy a car and then have problems with it right away, then again i am buying a used car. Im probably rambling but i thought the best way to get all the info is from rx8 owners themselves.

Wait a year then consider buy an RX8.
