headlamps

i just got my 2004 rx8 a couple a weeks ago and i need to know whether i have halogen capsule headlamps or hid headlights HOW DO I FIND OUT???

turn them on, look at the light output.
you can't tell the difference between halogen and HID?

HID's changes color as they warm up.
Halogen's just same color.

HID lights up more as a white in color. Halogens are more of a yellowish
