Thank you!!
I was obviously misinformed on the milage for oil changes, by both the dealer, and my XBF... I went ahead and had another one done, as after the 1400 mile roadie that I made when I first bought the car, and the constant love of driving this thing, I reached another 3,000 miles... oops! Naw... I'm kidding... i loved every mile of it! I went ahead and had another oil change, and found that the dude that I have always had do my oil and whatnot, used to work on his friends RX-7 back in HS, and is now TOTALLY enthused that I got this and he gets to do oil changes! I have recently hit 35,000 miles on it, and after reading the recommended thread, thank you fuztupnz, I see that I more than likely need to replace plugs, wires, and whatnot... I would like to do this myself, as I want to know this car inside and out. So, I guess that I'll have to do more heavy reading... (seeing as I'm a girl and not entirely mechanically inclined) I can install stereo systems like nobody's business, but rotary engines are not yet my fortay... it will be soon... ihopeihopeihope!
So... anyway, I have more pics to post, and I have to take my lil red beast for a spin... I love makin the soccer moms at school pissed when I pull up to get my son... they are all pretentious snobs anyway... so... HA! anyhoo... more pics to come!
And again... thank you!

Thank you,
I do love the spoiler, It's definately different! Since I'm the 3rd owner, unfortunately I'm not sure where the spoiler came from. It definately gives it a more agressive look...
Still lovin her!
I took her out on a nice winding backroad this evening and opened her up good and proper, had to show a friend what she could do. Most people around here have never seen one in person, let alone sat in one and went for a ride. It was just a blast!
Pics are coming... of the car... do I have to be in the pictures too??? *sigh* heh.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
I've been reading a lot about these cars, and I have read some horror stories, and all that... But I had an XBF with an RX-7, and I just fell in love with it.
He let me drive it on occasion...
jerk.
But now I get to drive this beast when ever I want!!! MINE!
Anything that I should know right off the bat? Little quirks that they are known for, things I should be looking for?
I know how to drive this car, and I enjoy every second of it... so far this car is just a dream!
Thanks!

Let's not start the oil thing in here, just change your oil every 3000 mile, check and top off acordingly...As far as what oil to use you are just gonna have to become as confused as the rest of us and make you own decisions and ignore most other peoples opinions.

Well... bewbs or no...
I'm at the dealer today... having the clutch mount checked, as the recall suggested, and I'm having the compression checked as well... boy, they sure rape you on labor!!!
Good thing I'm going to try to do my own maintenance when possible!! Road trip was fun as usual! However I don't have anyone with me for photo purposes... ill have to get pics when I get home... but I have pics of my 8 under control!
I was walkin about the lot... trying to find the 8s... they only have 3 2010's... one Is... velocity red... nice wheels... very pretty! they have a few used on the lot... I drove one, and it just felt loose... needs a left rear shock... it thump over bumps... and it felt rough at idle... sad really.

Lol, bewbies are always a good currency instead of moniez. But, on osme of the stuff, you can usually do a selfcheck, so that way they can't rape you on fees.

I can see your position slipping in the near future.
Krys: Did you have good numbers on the compression test? Make sure you get them in writing and with the RPM they were tested at. Keep it with any records you have just in case.
