I'm doing my tranny and diff flush today. I finished my transmission and am half way though filling my diff.... I used two bottles of 75-90 Red Line into a jug with a pump... and went to get a drink when I noticed one of the bottles of red line they sold me is NS !!!!!(fml)

How bad will it be on my syncros to run that 50/50 ( seeing as the diff fluid I took out was literally pitch black)

I'm going on a road trip tomorrow ( or was planning on it. ) will it be fine as long as I rev match and go easy with her or am I pretty much freaking out for no reason?

not bad in the transmission, but you certainly dont want to use NS in the torsen diff.

Well luckly I measured it before I put it in the jug...
so it's 66% 75-90 and 33% 75-90 ns ~_~. I don't have any other option.

This is the tranny fluid I took out :

The diff fluid was even worse... O.O

I don't think the people who owned this 8 before me loved it at all.
Even with the 66/33 mix it runs like a new car. I didn't know the transmission could be so smooth.

I do that to all inappropriate thread titles. It isn't so much for you as for anyone else that is looking through thread titles and see the note. A reminder largely born of frustration from people constantly ignoring the title rule.

Thanks for the input RIWWP, also fair enough I apparently missed the "title rule" thread (going to go read it right now) Good day to you.

UPDATE: After driving for a few days, all seems to be running perfectly . Also the loud noise I thought was my fuel pump turned out the be the mud I took out of my differential. So... either 33% NS fluid is fine to mix, OR my diff is so shot that it just doesn't make a difference.
