my rx8 :(
how come my 8 is so much slower than my 7???
i dose not make sense, i traded in my 93 FD my dad gave me for the 08 6speed
the sales man said it would have so much more power, and said the blue smoke coming out of the exhaust means its modified??
i need help,and i hear a tick and my friend said my lifters are dry

It's because 8>7. That is the only reasonable explanation. The blue smoke definitely means it is modified, it probably has 2 turbocharges and one supercharger. The 7 will always be faster because like I said early 7<8 which interpolates a faster 1/4 mile time no matter what you do to the 8. Problem solved. Sorry buddy looks like you got screwed w/out lube.

before you get a car, you supposed to do your home work. Of course the rx8 is slower than the 7, do you see any turbos attached to the engine on the 8? But at least you get a better handling car.
I love blue, but if it's coming out of my exhaust I will be concerned.
and what tick are you talking about?... filters supposed to be dry, unless he is talking about the K&N oil kit...

well the salesman told me the 8 doesn't afraid of anything. and you say turbovs and supercharged??
like the car vin desil had??
that must be why i get 35mpg in the city because the design is so efficient?
have any of you guy herd of the tornado air??
i bought one for my FD but i was not big enough the intake was 4 1/2 inches and was covered with a pantyhose foot and the thing was shaped like a snail shell it was weird for it not to have a air filter??
but it was so fast, i had to pay 10k + my FD for my 8 and it has only 55k on it i think its a good deal.

if im correct this meant turbo 'versus' non-turbo, when you asked what turbovs was, i hope you werent serious, i havent heard of turbovs before, why is what your posting bothering me so much??!! i mean everything in this thread (speed)
