Sorry dude, we are pretty "tight" here, maybe you are the "loose" one here when that VTEC snap your butthole wide open.

Now that fiat owns chrysler i wonder if they will make a fiat crossfire? Fiat got baned from N.A. for being **** traps. If you were cool you would write out a rap song about why a Fiat forum we are not on has so much win over this forum that you are on. Then record the song and link the mp3 here. Then, we will start to take you seriously.

So actually Fiat wasn't "banned" from North America, they pulled out in '83. Pretty much all European cars from that era, maybe with the exception of the Germans, were complete and utter ****. Fiat pulled out, Rover pulled out, MG collapsed in 1980, Jaguar almost collapsed.

Fiat today is a pretty awesome company. I hope they bring the Fiat 500 over, it's very well regarded in Europe and would be a great small car for Chrysler. (Although I hope they keep it a Fiat.)

Do you really think this guy is from a Fiat forum? Good lord, this is an internet forum, stop taking things so seriously. You don't need to white knight for the RX8, it's an awesome car despite it's quirks, but it's not for everybody.

I had a Fiat X1/9 in the late '70s early '80s. Great little car. I beat the **** out of it for 135K miles. The biggest problem was the head gasket, went through 3 or 4. Replaced it with a '83 RX7, faster but not as much fun.
Are there enough Fiats still around to have a forum?

No I don't really think so, that's why I asked him to make a song. He probably drives a bad *** 1986 chevette.

i loved x1/9's when i was a kid. i still really like 'em. i like fiats, pretty excited about them owning chrysler. ever since that happened, i've been seeing quite a few fiat products running around ann arbor; i've seen a few 500's and an alfa mito

There are great downsides as well since Fiat is run by stupid managers.
The new maserati will sport a chrysler chassis, just as an example.
I mean... we've got efficient engines and lightweight chassis producing skills already, why would we carry over what we can already do well?
When you have a 1.4l petrol engine doing 37\40mpg and sub 2ton cars that could sell well in a "big car" market why would you start considering bigger cars?
This makes no sense to me! Stick with what you're good at, ie city vehicles and keep following that trend!

The 124 coupe was a nice looking car, just make sure there is still some metal left under the paint. A friend of mine had a later one with the 1600cc engine in Spain. Pretty fast in it's day.

The 1600cc engine can be modified like a beast...

This is a kit that my dear friend and mechanic developed with his father, a fiat racer I do all of my car work with him because of the level of his craftsmanship!

um why do i have the feeling you didnt pay a deposit and you were just window shopping......ANY dealership (i used to work for dealerships through a bodyshop) if anyone pays a deposit, it is reserved for THAT person, if they are going to take an offer from someone they will call you to ask you if your buying it or not, and idk how an 05 rx8 shinka is more expensive than a brand new genesis.....last year i was SO close to buying an 07 black shinka for 17k with 21k sticker price with only 10k miles on it, it was MINT, only reason i didnt get it was because the monthly payments would have caught up on me being $320/mo
