Ouch.. Everybody is flaming this guy for just posting how he feels and what he has been experiencing.. But I would expect it from this forum, anybody that says anything bad about "God’s chariot", even the owner of one, is subject to none stop flaming. I think that may have been in the forum's agreement when registering also..

and to the person who commented about the Cobra R.....you can't get even get a USED Cobra R for the price of a fully loaded RX-8, however, you can get a comparably equipped 03 Cobra for about the same if not a little more than an 8. That's really great that Car and Driver put the 8 as no. 1 when it "lost" on the road course to the fat-pig-of-a-car Mustang. As far as gas mileage goes, that's all driver. Each and everyone of you drives differently, some get 20mpg in their 8's, some get 13. You drive hard and fast, you get ****, what would you expect? Likewise with a vette or a cobra.

No, I was being sarcastic, pr1vateer. I am a car enthusiast. I'd like to have a sport car so I bought the 8 (that has 4 seats) to make my parents happy. I am 26, I can do whatever I want, but my family is always my priority, this is why I didn't buy the 350z. Now on the weekend, I would let my younger brothers take their girlfriends out, perfect fit for 4 people.
I can have a hundred good things to say about the 8, but I also can say many more negative things. If I have money I would buy a few more cars, such as the Honda Element, Nissan Quest, Acura RSX, BMW Z4, etc... I respect how people like certain cars, and I am the same in that. What I would laugh at is anyone would say a Camaro is better than the 8, for example. Camaro is a nice car, but ..... within the same class, 8 is way better.
