My motor "hiccups" @ around 4-5k

Any idea's why my motor hiccups around 4-5k rpm when accelerating slowly ? I wasn't sure if this was something I should bitch about to the dealer or not. The motor is at 51k miles (9k left on the warranty)... I think this started just before I had the new plugs installed, I was hoping that was all it needed. but the hiccup is still there...

Could it be oil on the MAF ? when i recharged my RB intake's filter, there was motor oil (yes, motor oil) all over the intake piping. the morons at the dealer over filled the the oil once.

Hiccup?
do you mean it cuts out shortly? or that it pitches high shortly?

It cuts out shortly... just like the computer retards the timing or something for ~200rpm... no pings or anything... and once it warms up, it's not as noticeable but it's still there.

my engine has this small "hiccup" when transitioning from 7k to 8k rpms...

Once they did the recall (re-flash and change plugs) it seemed to go away.

well I popped a new exhaust system on there, had no idea how often the eight throws flames out the back, even once warmed up... this IS normal right ?... I don't notice the hiccups anymore.
