Just replace the O2 sensor. the system needs oxygen feedback to generate the correct mixture.

but are they SURE thats the cause ? or they just want to make some quick $$$ out of you ?

are you in warranty ?

If it is the O2 sensor, than definately do the work yourself. It is literally one wire harness and a bolt. Simple as an oil change, maybe even more simple.

Can you confirm the DTC code?
I'm assuming this is the front O2 sensor...

When you took it to a shop...are they Rotory certified?

If they aren't specialist on rotories take it to the correct shop or the dealer.

Ja, please confirm the cel code.

It's common to get a miss fire on our cars and then throw a cel code. Just reset the ECU for this and you will be fine. We need more info.

We just want to make sure the shop is not BSing for bucks.
