I think you really pissed Rotard off.

dynamho 04-29-2009 02:42 PM

You can train a guard dog to silently watch until someone starts messing with your car, then he'll need some stitches.

Korean Jindos rarely bark, very quiet, and are fiercely loyal.

hey, thanks for that link. i've always liked shiba inus (2 different friends both have them) but they are a bit on the small side for me. they look similar, but then also have a lot of the attributes which i admire in german shepherds.

thanks again.

and lol @ pissing off rotard: lol:

Mazurfer 04-29-2009 10:02 PM

Damn, that sucks! I'd be looking in the neighborhood to see who changes oil and leaves it in milk jugs, that would give you a real good idea. Hell, look at the label and see what brand, then if you see someone changing oil, putting it in the same type of jug......I'd go have a little talk with them.

DOMINION 04-29-2009 10:12 PM

This is why I do not park in my drive way or out in the street. I'll stick with scraping everytime I go up my drive way lol I also hated living in apartments too.
Sucks man. Hop you get your ride fixed.

White_Shadows 05-01-2009 01:55 PM

LineX the bottom of your car and scrape away. I will NEVER park my car in the street. That is just asking for it. OR if it is your house chisel down the driveway so you can drive up it haha. You got that not so pretty looking bmw up there. The RX-8 will get up there.

kersh4w 05-01-2009 07:48 PM

that bmw rides a lot higher than the rx8. and it scrapes too. but not that bad. my brother just puts thick cardboard down.

and yeah, i got my tires replaced so im good to go. the only thing is that the tires are brand new. so im having some traction problems around some turns that are not that serious at all. i think i need to do a little burnout to get that finished layer off.

nycgps 05-01-2009 11:32 PM

new tires has a coat of lube on them so they wont "crack" in storage. thats where you get your slippage from.

It takes a couple hundred miles to wear them off.

kersh4w 05-02-2009 11:30 AM

i've put at least 200 miles on them since monday.

and i did a little "traction test" where i "failed" to gain traction.

hopefully that will help things out.

Sorry to hear what happened. This is not just random vandalization (same car 2x?). Only thing I can think of is a scorned woman or someone that just wants to make your life a living hell. Did you fire someone at work?, Your daughter win a beauty pagent over some nieghbors kid who is obsessed with winning? kick someones puppy? I had green house paint poured on my old car along with slashed tires. (That's a story for another day) So I know how you feel. The inexpensive fix get some motion lighting outside your house. Also you may want to try a car cover - some have the ability to run a wire underneath so you can put a lock it on. Or park so you can see your car outside your bedroom window. Or all three. I also know that if you talk to the police they usually have some ideas as well. They can also tell you if this has happened to anyone else. Keep you car clean just in case the opportunity for fingerprints do arise. Good luck.

lone_wolf025 05-02-2009 10:34 PM

The cams in combination with the floods are a good idea. Capture them on vid, then (depending on the damage) take it to the cops or out of their hide. Though as a future Marine you'd be expected to take the high road...which just means you don't personally take it out of their hide...

DaAznKnight 05-03-2009 12:22 AM

I recommend the floodlights, except set the circuit to trigger gunfire noises. He won't come back unless he's stupid.

I would be glad to sit out there with Kitsune. When the fuckers rolled up to pour more oil on the car, he could run up and ask for a pet while I beat the shit out of them. (then again, I have seen him show his teeth at a person I didn't trust; he just might take a chunk out of someone...)

Some seriously messed up fucker resently threw a quarter at my daily after HE, very very deliberately, cut me off. Left a dent (with little ridges). I will admit I occasionally may cause others to get mad, but I did nothing to this guy except pass him after he cut me off. I didnt realize what he threw at me until I got home. Now I have to go find him and have a little discussion. I will find him.

What is wrong with people?

kersh4w 05-03-2009 11:44 AM

lolol that picture is awesome. "huh?! what is that?!"

i think a lot people have issues with their self esteem. so they try to bolster their self image by damaging other people's property. and thats fucked up, with this economy he shouldnt just be throwing money around like that.

04RX8man 05-03-2009 01:00 PM

for a small fee I'll sit out side with "the destroyer" (aka my 1/2" torque wrench) and wait for the little bastards but possibly blood on the car this time but it washes off!

Moon Assad 05-03-2009 07:41 PM

Well, that really sucks. If I had a suspect id poor oil on there car then knock on there door in the morning and tell them that it must have been the same guy that hit your car, I spotted the oil on your car driving buy, it seems to be going around the neigborhood, dam kids. See what there reaction is, im sure if they didnt do it youl now and just help him clean it off of his car, no big deal, friend thy neighbor. If after that you figure out that it was him or his kids then all bets are off. I always wanted to try mixing up 4 gallons of 2 part foam in a 5 gallon bucket and poor it into a sun roof before it kicks. Ive never had my car vandalized luckly but an eye for an eye. I can bet after getting the 2 part solid foam out of there car id say there not going to mess with you again, hey if they do your gona have a camera settup ready to catch them in the act. You can always settup a cheap web cam in your house window with motion lights on the outside after the fact. Stay 2 steps ahead.

kersh4w 05-03-2009 10:23 PM

lol i wish. but i'll take the high road. lets see what happens in the coming weeks though.

Jindos and Shibas look similar but Jindos are larger. I've seen Jindos that are almost as large as Akitas.

What are you talking about?? I didnt say I was going to beat the crap out of him or anything.

kersh4w 05-04-2009 11:33 AM

guys, i know carbonrx8 in real life. he is a really level headed dude. he is not someone that would do the eye for an eye, slash their tires and pour oil over their car. its just frustrating, i mean hell. i WANT to beat the crap out of whoever did this. but just because we both want to, doesnt mean we will.

dillsrotary 05-04-2009 11:46 AM

I cringe everytime this thread gets bumped because I think "oh man don't say it happened again"
