As long as any other motor... Unless you have a critical component failure.

There's just no better way to answer this question. I was a mechanic for 10+ years. I've seen engines that were maintained flawlessly die early, and I've seen engines that were abused their entire life outlast the car itself.

Somewhere between 15k miles and 150k miles.
That seems to be the most typical range after receiving a rebuilt motor for most of the owners on here.

BC.

10k to 200k is a more comprehensive range. Alneilsen had 2 motors that died within 15k, a 3rd not much more than 15k.

And Elf is passing 250k on his first.

^ True, it helps internal lubrication, and lessens the risk of a failure due to apex seal failure.

Premixing does nothing to protect against coolant seal or oil control ring failure, nothing against side seal failure, and not much against carbon buildup related failures (about the best we have seen is that premixing makes the carbon deposits 'softer', but not really any less overall accumulation)

Have to address each issue individually, as best as you can.

Forever...lol

Anyway, it should last longer if you do the scheduled and preventive maintenance as well.

I hope every rotary out there lasts longer than Monchie's incessant need to post something rather pointless in every thread on the forums...
