Initially, I regretted getting 8.5 inch rims with too aggressive an offset because when I lowered it I had to get the rear guards rolled. Hindsight's a wonderful thing.
But like a previous poster in this thread, whenever I look at the car and the stance it has, I think it was worth the hassle.
All other mods have brought only joy. Love my short shifter and truly believe those who don't at least replace the sways with something stiffer are missing out on what this car is really capable of in the twisty stuff. Improving the ignition system with better plug leads and keeping an eye on the coils is also worth the money.

Damn, no teaser pictures! Are you still keeping the Veilside wide body or did you get that changed as well?

I would say my only regret is spending all the money I have on all my other mods lol. Hell I am a third away from my Pettit S/C. No really though, I have thought about and researched all my mods before I have bought them and I am very happy with them so far.

17” Enkei GF1 wheels and Yokohama Ice Guard snows – I actually love the wheel set for winter. On more than one occasion this winter, I drove through snow deep enough to drag underparts of my car and watched other cars spin off the road on ice around me. These tires turned my car into a tractor and still handle well enough for winter. I also appreciate the extra side wall for early spring potholes and frost heaves in Michigan.
What I regret is that I now have to go back to my stock rims and tires or drop a large chunk of cash to get rims I find aesthetically pleasing.
