Well, for the HP+ on a street car, I'd never do that. I don't enjoy buying new rotors when I need new pads =O HPS ftw
Did you measure the temperature at your throttle body before and after the mod? Perhaps you should...
And the catch can..peace of mind, my friend!

My 2004 RX8 is showroom stock and I have no plans for any mods. I do have a question regarding mods, however: when it comes time to sell, which car would have the higher resale value; a stock RX8 or a modified one? Also, my idea of stock is a car that was never modified, not one that was modified and then returned to "stock" before resale.

so if you're looking for marketability, a stock car will have more interested buyers b/c that group is larger. that and the mods may not be what another buyer wants. but when it comes down to it there are those that want to buy one that is modded b/c it is what they want and they don't want to do the work to get it there so long as they can verify that the work looks okay.
EDIT: i guess mazurfer beat me to it in a much more concise way.

there are a few sets of buyers out there so to each their own. you certainly won't recoup your "investment" of the mods you put in but depending on the mod you can sell for a premium over a stock (e.g. turbo/sc). there are others, though, that would hesitate to buy a modded car b/c they are worried the work wasn't done right, that it's driven by someone that is driving into the ground, or whatever their reason will be.

I regret buying a shirt **** I found on a site, when I first bought my 8. It looks like the Piano Black ball we all have except it has small red lights on the top. NO, this is NOT some Autozone part.
I regret buying it because the button on the **** to turn the lights on vibrates very loudly and is very annoying.

How's about one I didn't do.............I was called by Pettit back in May and on the list for the Pettit SC install(free) two days later. Had the appointment and rental car(for the drive home) all set up. Talked it over with some other folks and called back the next day to declined.......... simply due to warranty issues and not believing that enough time had been put on this SC yet. Probably a big mistake and in hindsight and I should've just done it. Think someone in Largo or Pembroke Pines took my slot! Who was it???????????????? I think it might have been Munchie?

YOu need to hire a professional Mod Consultant. I've had one for quite some time now, it's not cheap but he's never let me down!
