Oh well, the only person who knows the center section is loose is me.
My clip was broken by someone else (service?) but I repaired mine with Velcro. It took a bit of time to cut out the right shape but it worked very well and now I don't have to worry about "yank and pray".

I regret buying those clear corners that are still sitting on my desk.

Oh, one of these days I may have too much to drink and actually install them...

Understandable... it's hard finding the 10 minutes it takes to install.

During daylight hours, you're absolutely right!

I'm going to quit procrastinating. One of these days.

Not regrets, but waste of time/effort/$

- Hawk HP+ pads (little/no change from stock)
- intake coolant bypass mod (no effect)
- blowby catch can (no oil caught)

I regret buying the HKS power suction air intake... what a waste of money.

My K&N panel filter nets the same result without the angry misquito sound and saved myself 500 bucks.

Sorry XDEEDUBBX you HKS junkie ...

I regret adding Mazda OEM strakes - they are now off the car and sitting in my basement. I also wish I did not get the Mazda Rotary Valve Stem Caps - fricken thieves own them now.

Other that those two, I have been pretty happy.

Hmm, interesting thread:

- I regret not powder coating my calipers instead of painting them. They're starting to chip and look like hell up close.
- Autolumination bulbs. Waste of money
- Royal Purple Transmission Fluid. RP = grindage in my car
- I regret not putting a clear bra on my bumper

I also regret not powder coating the calipers. When I add ss brake lines and new pads/rotors, I'll change that, but what a pita.

interesting stuff

i guess you dont have to literally regret mods, just sounded like a good title. how about mods you were unhappy with and learned and did or plan to do differently

- I sort of regret installing my Konis struts and S-Techs springs. Maybe I should have just gone with coilovers.

BOO regreting Koni's!!!! I love my Konis, try playing with your adjustmenters more. Konis are great qualitly pieces and have a lifetime warranty. The only coilover set for the 8 that I know of with a lifer warranty are the KW V3's, and those cost mucho $$

I regret buying a Base Automatic. I love the car, but I should have done more research on the 6-speed M/T...
