Milwaukee Service?

Just looking ahead for the time I need to take the 8 if for service (just got it about 6 weeks ago and loving it). I'm closest to Hall Mazda in Brookfield. However, they had some bad press a couple of years ago when a customer saw their car, which was in for service, driving down the road late one evening, as I remember the story. A local news investigation said people in the service dept were driving customer's cars home at night. That's OK if it is customer approved to diagnose a problem, but this was not the case. I assume this problem has been rectified, but it still gives me some pause.

I've always been very leary of dealers for service, but in the case of the 8 I am really leary of independent service because of the 8's uniqueness. Also, I don't want to void the warranty because some independent service station didn't do the proper service.

Does anyone have any experience with Hall Mazda for service, or any recommendations for other dealers in Milwaukee not TOO far from the west side?

Thanks

I got my 8 at Amato Mazda, but I live in Sheboygan Falls, so I get mine serviced at Lakeland Mazda in Sheboygan. I've actually heard that Hall does not have the greatest service department but I've never been there so I couldn't tell you for sure. I do know for sure the salesman were a bunch of asses when I originally started to look and shop for prices on my 8, so I didn't buy from them. I guess your next closest bets would be Russ Darrow, Amato, or Concours. When I bought mine, Amato did install my spoiler and rotary accents for free, and they installed my winter tires for free and switched back to my summer tires for free too. I was real happy with the service I received from them, but I've never had anything else done there. Where did you buy your 8?

I got mine from a dealer just north of Chicago. At the time I couldn't find what I wanted around here and they gave me the best deal. Obviously, I can't use them for service - too far. So, I need to find someone around here (Waukesha).

I get all my service done at Concours Mazda, which is off of Silver Spring Dr. I have been very happy with them so far, courteous and quick. I recommend them highly.
